In a landmark move set to redefine family entertainment in the Middle East, The Walt Disney Company and Miral, Abu Dhabi’s premier creator of immersive destinations, have unveiled plans to develop a world-class Disney theme park and resort on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
This destination will mark Disney’s seventh global theme park resort, reinforcing the company’s global expansion while capturing the hearts of new audiences across the region. Strategically located, Yas Island is already known for its impressive lineup of entertainment attractions and is within a four-hour flight of one-third of the world’s population.
A Fusion of Magic and Culture
Set against a waterfront backdrop, the upcoming Disney resort will blend Disney’s legendary storytelling and characters with Abu Dhabi’s vibrant culture, modern architecture, and coastal charm. This unique mix will create an immersive experience that is both authentically Disney and distinctly Emirati.
